Brooklyn born and raised artist L'Rain is gearing up to release her new album Fatigue via Mexican Summer on the 25th of June. Fresh single 'Suck Teeth' is an inward-looking piece of hazy alt-pop, which weaves together elements of jazz, psychedelia and R&B absolutely seamlessly. Keeping us engrossed across its near 4 minute duration, tumbling bass guitar falls in the breaks between the spaced-out drums as L'Rain's smooth yet husky vocals guide the way through the musical smog. Lyrically reflective, L'Rain explains: “I’m wondering if it’s possible to prevent my failures and shortcomings from getting passed on. “Suck Teeth” was originally going to be the name of the entire album because I loved how it encapsulated a very Black sound of disapproval, annoyance, and disappointment.
